Client Relationship Specialist
I am an organized person and a planner. My husband doesn’t always appreciate these traits, but they suit me well in my role as a Client Relationship Specialist.
I’ve been with Investment Partners, LTD since May of 2006. Prior to that, I worked at The Commercial & Savings Bank in Millersburg. I started out in Bookkeeping but soon accepted a position as a receptionist in the Trust and Brokerage Department. During my five years there, I became familiar with the industry and enjoyed speaking with clients on a daily basis.
In April 2006, I heard of a job opening for an assistant at Investment Partners in Millersburg. The position offered me the responsibilities that I was looking for along with plenty of client interaction and flexibility. I enjoy assisting clients at INVP. And we offer such a broad range of services that my work is always interesting and I am always learning something new.
I was born and raised in Holmes County. I met my husband, Brooks, here and we’ve been married since 2006. We have 3 boys: my step-son, Logan is 22, and together we have Brock, 12 and Cody, 10. We are definitely a family on the go. Brock and Cody both play baseball, basketball and football, so there’s not a lot of down time at our house! When we have a moment at home, we’re entertained by our two dogs (that we treat like humans) Scruffy, a terrier mix and Boomer, a Siberian Husky.
Brooks loves cars, so after many years of working in the auto body industry, it only made sense that the next step was to start his own business. He now owns an auto body repair shop and a small trucking company here in Millersburg. Logan is pursuing a career as a firefighter and is currently in paramedic school. Brock and Cody are hoping for careers as professional athletes.
When I have free time, I enjoy a good book. I love reading and learning about history and visiting historic landmarks. Washington D.C. is one of my favorite places to visit.
I also like to bake. I’ve always enjoyed cooking, but baking sweet treats and eating my creations is my favorite!
As a family, we love sprint car racing. It’s something I have gone and watched with my family my whole life, and I have been able to share that interest with my boys. Though we don’t go as often as we used to because of busy sports schedules, we try and get to a race or two every season.
