When I started my undergraduate career at Miami University, I was still deciding what I wanted to do as a career. But after my first economics course I had no doubts.
At Miami, I discovered my passion for global markets from both an economic and financial market perspective. I majored in both economics and finance in the business school and also was fortunate to be able to study international economics at Miami’s Luxembourg branch in Europe. I later earned an MBA with a focus in finance from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, as well.
I started my career out of college as a financial advisor at Balanced Asset Management in Westlake, Ohio. Having the passion to learn as much about the industry as possible, I accepted a position with McDonald & Company as an equity analyst. While there, I published research and recommended stocks for clients and advisors on energy, technology and telecom companies.
I next received an offer to become a portfolio manager from then National City (now PNC), and I also worked with MAI Capital Management before landing in my current role as a Registered Investment Adviser Representative with Investment Partners, LTD.
I have enjoyed advising clients on how to navigate the ever-changing landscape of the financial markets. As they say, if you find a job that you love, you will never work again. I am lucky to have found mine.
I am excited to be opening our firm’s newest branch in Independence, Ohio, where I will continue to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals. I like getting to know clients and working to gain their trust that I will be objective and an advocate for the financial goals they wish to accomplish.
In my spare time, I enjoy staying active through playing sports, running and biking. My favorite moments are the ones spent with my two young children while we fish or hike. Of course, that’s as long as I can pry them away from their electronics.
